| ABOUT RSMG |
| Government has established a central motor garage in Jaipur and Divisional Garage in Jodhpur, Udaipur. Vehicles are being allotted to offices in other divisions where there is no established garage. |

| The State Motor Garage is headed by The Controller, who is assisted by Chief Supdt., Senior Automobile Engineer, Automobile Engineer, Store Officer and Divisional Suptd. Head Quarter. The offices at Jodhpur, Udaipur are headed by Divisional Suptd. Garage. The Controller is responsible for whole establishment of Government Garage and he ensures that the State Garage and Divisional Garages are making the compliance of government orders. |

- To inspect new vehicles purchased for State Motor Garage or Government departments/semi-government organizations.
- To auction old vehicles and vehicle parts of all govt. departments of Rajasthan on behalf of government.
- To assess market price of old cars and scooters for the govt. employees, for the purpose of loan.
