1.3 The State Motor Garage is headed by The Controller, who is assisted by Chief Supdt., Senior Automobile Engineer, Automobile Engineer, Store Officer and Divisional Suptd. Head Quarter. The offices at Jodhpur, Udaipur are headed by Divisional Suptd. Garage. The Controller is responsible for whole establishment of Government Garage and he ensures that the State Garage and Divisional Garages are making the compliance of government orders.

1.4 Objective of the Department
1.4.1 To provide the transportation facility to Minister’s of Central Government, Rajasthan Government and Other State Governments. The facility is also provided to Senior Officers of Government, State Guests and Foreign Guest etc during the visit in Jaipur and other places in Rajasthan.
1.4.2 To fulfill the transportation requirement of government departments.
1.4.3 To fulfill the requirement of Motor Spirit, High Speed Diesel, Lubricants for all vehicles of Garage & other departments in Jaipur, Udaipur.
1.4.4 The department has established Petrol/Diesel Pump for the vehicles at Jaipur and Udaipur.
1.4.5 Department has well equipped workshop in Jaipur, Jodhpur and Udaipur, where vehicles of own garage and vehicles of government departments are repaired.
1.4.6 To purchase vehicles for district pools of all the Districts
1.4.7 To provide technical advice about Vehicles, Tyre, Batteries etc. to State Government department and semi-government organizations.
